Modelling good behaviour is one of the most important things a parent can do to help their children develop into responsible, caring, and successful adults.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You must have noticed that when you get up for prayers, your two-year-old comes close to you and starts making signs of worship. A two-year-old toddler (child) does not know what this procedure is. Is it good or bad? What is the benefit of this? But s\/he stands with you in worship because s\/he sees you doing it every day. It is the nature of children to do what adults do. What parents do at home sends a powerful message to their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parents are children\u2019s first teachers. The child\u2019s mind comes to them in the form of a blank paper, and they start writing on it through their words and actions. These are the daily routines that we do unconsciously and pass on to our unconscious, unconsciously. Parents usually continue to explain to the children by being a teacher and hoping that the children will follow their advice, but this is not the case. Children look up to adults and imitate them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In some homes, the environment is very bad. Especially in joint families. Often in the evening when everyone gets together, a tense situation is created. Sometimes there are quarrels and wrong words are used for each other. Children watch all this. Hate starts filling in their minds. And tomorrow, when these children grow up, they also create an atmosphere in their homes similar to what they have seen. If you have this type of environment in your home, take care to protect your children from this environment as soon as possible so that they do not copy and pass on these types of negative attitudes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This environment is not limited to joint families, nor am I criticizing the joint family system. Even in a separated family, couples may have problems with each other and express them in front of children. Parents may use the wrong words and tone when talking on the phone. They may misbehave with staff. It is also possible that the child tries to imitate the negative environment outside the home where he plays. As a parent! It is your responsibility to protect your child from all these negative factors for a positive upbringing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You must have heard the story of a teacher\u200a\u2014\u200aThe story is about a teacher who noticed a child coming to school with jaggery every day. He did not say anything to the child the first two days, but on the third day, he stopped the child and explained lovingly why he should not eat jaggery. The teacher explained that he had been eating jaggery himself for two days, so he was not in a position to train the child. The story is a reminder that we should not expect others to do something that we ourselves are not doing.<\/p>\n\n\n
